Sir / Madam,

    I am directed to refer to Punjab Circle letter No. 5T8/48-16/2020 dated 29.06.202L and Haryana Circle letter No. Staffl29- 1118/CAT dated 30.06.2021 on the above noted subject.

2. The claim of the applicants for grant of Grade Pay Rs.5400 on a non. functional basis after completion of 4 years regular service in the Grade Pay Rs. 4800 as per the provisions of Clause I(J (e) of the Ministry of Finance D/o Expenditure Resolution dated 29.08.2008, was examined in consultation with Department of Expenditure. The Department of Expenditure vide their ID Note No. 6/2/E-IIIB/2020 dated 19.07,2021 expressed no objection to implementing the Common Order of Hon'ble CAT, Chandigarh Bench dated 10.08.2020 in case of the applicants only.
3. Accordingly, the claim of these 17 applicants only, in personnam, has been acceded to by the competent authority in compliance of Hon'ble CAT Chandigarh Bench Common Order dated 10.08.2020 in OA No. 522 & 523 of 2020.
4. It is, therefore, requested to ensure immediate compliance accordingly. Further, also get both the Contempt Petitions in both the OAs, vacated by appraising the compliance made to Hon'ble Tribunal.
